WU School of Pharmacy Hosts Community Health Outreach for Mahidol Day 2026, Promoting Safe Medication and Health Products in Thasala

Faculty members and student representatives from the School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, actively participated in the academic service event organized for Mahidol Day 2026 at the Tha Sala Sub-district Municipality Meeting Hall. The pharmacy team hosted an educational booth focusing on “Medication and Health Product Safety,” drawing an engaging crowd of over 100 local residents from the Thasala community.

The health fair was successfully spearheaded by the School of Allied Health Sciences, featuring collaborative booths from the Walailak University Medical Center and various health science schools. Sincere appreciation is extended to Lecturer Dr. Attarat for overarching coordination, as well as Lecturer Dr. Siranee and Lecturer Dr. Pannawat for leading the exhibition booth and supervising the student participants throughout the event.

Looking ahead, the School of Pharmacy will serve as the primary host for the upcoming Mahidol Day Merit-Making and Almsgiving Ceremony on September 23, 2026. All faculty, staff, and students are cordially invited to join in honoring the legacy of Prince Mahidol, the “Father of Modern Medicine and Public Health of Thailand.”
