On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, successfully organized the “Preceptor Development Project 2026” via Zoom Meeting. This online event was dedicated to enhancing the capabilities and readiness of preceptors at pharmacy practice sites. The project was open to preceptors and interested pharmacists free of charge.
The event featured practical and intensive sessions, divided into two main parts:
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: A special lecture on “The Application of TeamSTEPPS for Preceptors to Enhance Pharmacy Practice Mentorship.” The session was honorably conducted by Lecturer Pharm. Jirapun Ritsamdang, who focused on utilizing TeamSTEPPS tools to elevate communication, teamwork, and overall efficiency within the mentorship system.
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: An open forum for sharing experiences, reflecting on challenges, and providing constructive feedback regarding the professional pharmacy practice of Walailak University students. These valuable insights will be utilized to further develop and maximize the effectiveness of the practicum curriculum.
