BANGKOK — The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chulalongkorn University, on behalf of the Association of Deans of Pharmacy Colleges of Thailand (Pharmacy Deans Consortium of Thailand – PDCT) and sponsored by the Ajarn Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation, officially hosted the Thai Pharmacy Education National Conference 2026.
The prestigious event took place from May 18–19, 2026, across two venues: the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chulalongkorn University and the Mandarin Hotel Bangkok.
Driving Leadership and Innovation in Healthcare
This year’s conference was held under the pivotal theme, “Transforming Pharmacy Education: Cultivating Leadership and Innovative Thinking.” The opening ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Pornsak Sriamornsak, President of the PDCT.
The primary objective of the conference was to serve as a national platform for academic exchange, focusing on adapting and elevating pharmacy education to keep pace with rapid advancements in global healthcare systems and digital technology. The discussions heavily emphasized cultivating future pharmacy graduates who possess not only robust professional knowledge but also strong leadership qualities, critical thinking skills, and innovative capabilities.
Nationwide Academic Collaboration
The event drew significant participation from pharmacy faculties across the country, including a delegation from the School of Pharmacy at Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Chaweewan Klongsiriwet. The university’s executives and school members actively engaged in the sessions.
“Beyond the invaluable insights gained from the keynote topics, this conference provided an exceptional opportunity for nationwide educators to network, share institutional experiences, and collaborate on future academic frameworks,” representatives noted.
