Dr. Tanavij Pannoi was selected to present his research papers orally at the 16th ISPE’s Asian Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology (ACPE) on October 12-14, 2024 at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. He was one of the 6 international researchers who gave a presentation under the theme “Concurrent Contributed Papers Session: Methods”, on the topic of Performance of Matching with Oversample and Replacement Strategy for Imbalanced Real-world Dataset. The research topic is to develop a methodology for analyzing health big data in pharmacoepidemiological study. In addition, he also attended a seminar on Advanced Pharmacoepidemiology, where he will apply his knowledge and experiences from exchanging with international researchers to his research and teaching in pharmacoepidemiology.
