On November 5, 2025, the School of Pharmacy at Walailak University welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuc Hung, Head of the Department of Pharmacy Management from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), Vietnam. The visit was received by Asst. Prof. Dr. S iranee Yongpraderm, Head of the Pharmaceutical Care Program.
During the meeting, the two institutions discussed key areas of academic collaboration. CTUMP expressed its plan to send pharmacy students to Walailak University for a two-week study program focusing on pharmacy business and entrepreneurship in 2026. The School of Pharmacy confirmed its readiness to host the visiting students and provide hands-on learning experiences.
The discussion also included possibilities for joint research cooperation between Dr. Nguyen and faculty members in the pharmacy management field. Both sides agreed that expanded collaboration would create new opportunities for international academic exchange and strengthen research capacity for future projects.
The visit marks a positive step toward deeper partnership between Thailand and Vietnam in pharmaceutical education and research.
