Walailak University’s School of Pharmacy is now accepting applications for students in the Pharmacy program who are recipients of scholarship contracts for the academic year 2023, round 1. There are five positions.

The School of Pharmacy at Walailak University must recruit university personnel, including academic positions and university staff, in practical operations. Specifically, there is a need for Pharmacy Store Pharmacists to accommodate the increased number of students according to the university’s policy, supporting teaching, learning, and academic services through Pharmacy students under scholarship contracts. Therefore, applications are invited for the selection of Pharmacy students under scholarship contracts, round 1, for a total of 5 positions, as detailed below:

(1) Lecturer, four positions

1. General Qualifications

1.1 Applicants must meet general qualifications and not be prohibited as specified in Walailak University’s Personnel Management Regulations, BE 2561, the revised and amended version, and according to the announcement of Walailak University regarding the qualifications of applicants for university personnel, BE 2565, issued on July 20, 2565.

1.2 The student must be a Pharmacy student under a scholarship contract, demonstrating a commitment to repay the scholarship in the academic year 2024.

2. Specific Qualifications for the Position

2.1 completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (6-year program) with a GPA of under at least 3.25.

2.2 Passed the Professional Pharmacist Qualifying Examination.

2.3 Obtained a TOEFL (Paper-based) score of not less than 550 or equivalent English proficiency test score, valid for up to 2 years from the date of application.

CEFR B2 Equivalent: IELTS 6.5 / TOEIC 686 / TOEFL IBT 80 / TOEFL PBT 550 / TOEFL ITP 550 / TOEFL CBT 213 / WU-TEP 84 / CU-TEP 100

For applicants with a TOEFL (Paper-Based) score below 550 but not lower than 500, Walailak University allows them to be considered for university staff positions. Once selected, a contract will be offered with the following conditions:

(1) Must submit a TOEFL (Paper-based) score of at least 550 within 2 years of appointment as university staff, reporting English proficiency test results continuously every 4 months.

(2) If the applicant fails to meet the conditions in 2.3 (1), they will be disqualified from university staff positions unless the faculty provides a valid and necessary reason, approved by the University President, and allows an extension of the English proficiency test reporting period for up to 1 year.

3. Responsibilities

3.1 Perform duties within the agreed Terms of Reference (TOR) scope with the Pharmacy Faculty.

3.2 Perform other duties as assigned by the university.

4. Salary and Benefits

4.1 Monthly salary of 28,000 Baht.

4.2 Professional allowance for health science fields, 10,000 Baht per month.

4.3 Benefits as specified by the university.

1. General Qualifications

1.1 Applicants must meet general qualifications and not be prohibited as specified in Walailak University’s Personnel Management Regulations, BE 2561, the revised and amended version, and according to the announcement of Walailak University regarding the qualifications of applicants for university personnel, BE 2565, issued on July 20, 2565.

1.2 The student must be a Pharmacy student under a scholarship contract, demonstrating a commitment to repay the scholarship in the academic year 2024.

2. Specific Qualifications for the Position

2.1 completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (6-year program) with a GPA of 3.00 or higher. 3. passed the Professional Pharmacist Qualifying Examination.

2.3 Obtained a TOEIC score of 450 or equivalent English proficiency test score.

3. Responsibilities

3.1 Perform duties within the agreed Terms of Reference (TOR) scope with the Pharmacy Faculty at the University Pharmacy.

3.2 Perform other duties as assigned by the university.

4. Salary and Benefits

4.1 Monthly salary of 23,000 Baht.

4.2 Professional allowance of 10,000 Baht per month.

4.3 Benefits as specified by the university.
