[Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand] – Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University, recently presented bouquets of congratulations to six outstanding sixth-year students from the School of Pharmacy. These students have brought immense pride to the university by winning prestigious awards at both national and international levels, reflecting the high standards of pharmaceutical education at Walailak University.
The recognized achievements include:
1. Global Pharmaceutical Innovation (ISPE Thailand Hackathon 2025)
- Ms. Natnaphat Khimmaktong: Secured the 1st Prize (Winner) in the pharmaceutical skills competition at the ISPE Thailand Hackathon 2025. She has been selected as the national representative to compete in the ISPE Regional Hackathon 2025 in Singapore.
- Mr. Supakorn Chuaykaew: Awarded the 2nd Runner-up in the same competition, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills in pharmaceutical engineering and technology.
2. International Research Presentation (PST2025)
- Mr. Athipat Wangboonkong and Ms. Natnaphat Khimmaktong: Received the 2nd Prize Award for their outstanding Oral Presentation at the 19th International Symposium of the Protein Society of Thailand (PST2025). This international platform highlights their capability in advanced research and scientific communication.
3. National Industrial Pharmacy Skills (ISE 18th)
- Mr. Jirasak Noosawat and Ms. Patcharee Srinurot: Earned the 2nd Runner-up award in the Industrial Skill Event (ISE) at the 18th National Pharmacy Skills Competition. This event was organized by the Student Pharmacy Federation of Thailand (PSFT) to test expertise in industrial pharmacy and manufacturing challenges.
