NAKHON SI THAMMARAT—Walailak University has officially announced the academic promotion of Chanakan Sitthisak to the rank of Assistant Professor, marking a significant milestone for the School of Pharmacy and the institution’s research profile. The appointment was formalized under Order No. 852/2569, signed by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, following a resolution by the University Council during its third session of 2026 on March 27.
A Proven Track Record in Pharmaceutical Innovation
Assistant Professor Chanakan Sitthisak, a distinguished pharmacist, has been recognized for her expertise in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology (Subject Code 3302). Her academic background is rooted in advanced research, holding a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Drug and Cosmetic Innovation from Walailak University. The promotion is retroactive, with the official status taking effect from May 30, 2025.
