The successful completion of the 4th Annual General Meeting of the Pharmacy Student Association of Thailand (PSAT) on February 10th-11th, 2567 B.E. (2024) at Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Thailand, is worth noting.

The disclosure was made by Mr. Supakorn Chuaykaew, President of the Pharmacy Student Association, School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, that the Student Pharmacist Association of Thailand (PSAT) held a meeting according to the agenda of PSAT to plan activities to develop the potential of pharmacy students both domestically and internationally. This meeting is the 4th of the academic year 2566. Previous meeting was preceded by Silpakorn University, Thammasat University, and Khon Kaen University, respectively. In this time, the meeting was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Tida Sottiyotin, Assistant Dean of the School of Pharmacy, as the chairperson.

Due to the geographical location of Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, being close to the sea, activities and welcoming receptions can be organized excellently. This meeting was held at the Thasala Cabana Hotel, and the venue was a conference room at the Medical Center Hospital of Walailak University, which was well-prepared and suitable, impressing those who participated in the event. There was support for future meetings at Walailak University on the next occasion. The Faculty of Pharmacy, Burapha University will host the next meeting.

The President of the Pharmacy Student Association, School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, also thanked the Student Union Committees from 20 pharmacy faculties, including Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Prince of Songkla University, Khon Kaen University, Silpakorn University, Naresuan University, Srinakharinwirot University, Mahasarakham University, Ubon Ratchathani University, Phayao University, Rangsit University, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University, Siam University, Payap University, Walailak University, Burapha University, Thammasat University, Eastern Asia University, and Western University for trusting Walailak University to host this meeting and thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event. This resulted in good friendship and cooperation. It is hoped that everyone will succeed in achieving the goals of the activities and meet again at the 5th PSAT meeting at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Burapha University. Additionally, Mr. Supakorn Chuaykaew thanked the sponsor, “Nong Dee Rice Shop,” for supporting this event.
