The School of Pharmacy, Walailak University (WU), has sent two lecturers and four pharmacy students to join WU/USC Pharmacy Exchange Programme at University of San Carlos (USC), Cebu, the Philippines

The School of Pharmacy, Walailak University (WU), has sent two lecturers and four pharmacy students to join WU/USC Pharmacy Exchange Programme at University of San Carlos (USC), Cebu, the Philippines, between 21 April and 2 May 2025. The purpose of this activity is mainly to increase the experiences in a variety of pharmacy aspects. During two weeks of the activity, the lecturers and students from WU had an opportunity to share the knowledge and experience in health system between Thailand and the Philippines, and also attended some lectures and laboratories for USC pharmacy students. For pharmaceutical care aspect, they visited the Vicente Sotto Medical Memorial Center and Chong Hua Hospital to observe the roles of hospital pharmacists in the Philippines. They also joined the home visit activity at Brgy Talamban community. In addition, for pharmaceutical science, they had a chance to observe Pharmaceutical Research and Drug Development Laboratory  (PRDDL) and GT Cosmetics factory.
