On Monday, June 24, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Assistant Professor Dr. Apichat Athipairin, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, along with the school’s executives and faculty members, welcomed a delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), Vietnam. The delegation was led by Associate Professor Nguyen Thanh Tan, Vice President of CTUMP.
Assistant Professor Dr. Apichat Athipairin delivered a welcome speech, followed by presentations from the faculty members of the School of Pharmacy. They provided information about the school, including the Bachelor of Pharmacy program, graduate programs, and notable research projects. Subsequently, Associate Professor Do Chau Minh Vinh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at CTUMP, presented information about CTUMP, detailing their undergraduate and graduate pharmacy programs, as well as their international collaboration activities.
Additionally, the members of the School of Pharmacy at Walailak University and CTUMP discussed regarding developing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between two schools to extend the existing university-level Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The discussions included plans for student and faculty exchange programs, short-term training in pharmacy, collaborative research, and joint publication in academic journals.
