School of Pharmacy, Walailak University led by Miss Najmee Adulyarat, Mr. Suranet Phanapitakkul, and 4th year pharmacy students from the School of Pharmacy together with a network of health volunteers in Sra Bua Village and the Islamic Committee of Muslimah jointly implement the project “Community Health Promotion Project, Ban Sra Bua, Know About Medicine” under the Academic Service Project (WU – Social engagement)
“Baan Sra Bua Project Knowing about Medicine” has a period of time to implement the project. from February until September 2023. Implement the project by integrating teaching outside the classroom in the subject “Family and Community Pharmacy” together with academic service (Social Engagement) to promote the health and well-being of people in the community (Good health and Well-being) by working with village health volunteers and the network of people in the area with the aim of creating an integrated work of cooperation partners (Partnerships for the Goals) The implementation of the project consists of the following main activities:
- Finding a health network and building cooperation with universities.
- Finding community problems by forming a community. And jointly come up with ways to solve problems by adhering to the people-centered sector.
- Implementation of knowledge dissemination projects on self-care in non-communicable disease patients as well as meeting the needs of local people on taking care of yourself in the month of Ramadan
“Ban Sra Bua Project Knows about Medicine” has continued to operate in the area. With the support of the place from the Chiaruddin Mosque Committee, Sra Bua Village, Thasala Subdistrict, Thasala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The results showed that participants gained a significant increase in knowledge and were satisfied with participating in the activities at the highest level
