Friday 14th July 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Aruna Prasoptham, Assistant Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Walailak University said Associate Professor Dr. Jumpei Uchiyama จาก Okayama University, Japan visited the School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand. He had the program to meet the Dean of the School of Pharmacy and staff who were interested in antimicrobial research. The collaboration on Academic research was established. In this meeting, the special guest, Associate Professor Dr.Weerawath Mahathanatrakul was the initiator of this event also joined this meeting.
In this meeting, the School of Pharmacy negotiated to build Win-Win Partnership with Okayama University as shown below
(1) Research topic development covered microbiota, next-generation sequencing, and antimicrobials
(2) Student-exchanged program
(3) MEXT scholarship hunting for University staff and Graduate students of the Graduate School of Pharmacy, Walailak University to do the research at Okayama University, Japan
