School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, Strengthens International Collaboration with Leading Japanese Universities

From July 30 to August 1, 2025, a delegation from the School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, visited four prominent universities in Japan to explore and establish academic and research collaborations.

The delegation was led by:

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaweewan Klongsirivech, Acting Dean

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Suriyon Uitragul, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Corporate Communication

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Thipaporn Plaiduang, Assistant Dean for Academic and Professional Affairs

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Siranee Yongpraderm, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Care

The institutions visited included:
Meiji Pharmaceutical University, Showa Medical University, Toho University, and Josai University.

The visit resulted in the establishment of collaborative frameworks encompassing both academic and research initiatives. Key areas of cooperation include:

  • Bilateral exchange clerkships for pharmacy students

  • Short exchange programs for faculty members and students

  • Participation as invited speakers in joint academic conferences

This successful visit marks an important step in strengthening the School’s global network and enhancing its international presence. It sets a solid foundation for future collaborations and academic development with international partners.
