On Friday, November 3, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Namfa Sermkaew, head of the research institute School of Pharmacy Walailak University revealed that Walailak University participates in the Reinventing University project on creating cooperation with foreign higher education institutions. (Visiting Professor exchange) under the project to drive BCG from nature to the international level in the plan “Project to upgrade herbal research to international medical use with the BCG Model base” with Mae Fah Luang University being responsible for the project. The project invited Professor Dr. Gudrun Ulrich-Merzenich, Head of the Work Group “Synergy Research and Experimental Medicine”, Medical Clinic III, University Hospital Bonn, Germany, to visit Walailak University. It is a good opportunity for the School of Pharmacy and students to meet and talk with Professor Dr. Gudrun Ulrich-Merzenich at the Cannabis Center Room, Zone E1, Science and Technology Park. Walailak University. It provided opportunities for staff and students to consult on research projects. They also talk about academic cooperation including consulting on the research concept framework regarding synergy research of natural products, short-term training, and guidelines for applying for DAAD scholarships for graduate students and staff, including discussing student exchange through initial internships, etc.
