The School of Pharmacy at Walailak University has been awarded the Honorable Mention in the category of Model Educational Institution for Rational Drug Use by the Ministry of Public Health, as part of the prestigious “Five Decades of Thailand’s Pharmaceutical System” awards. The award ceremony was presided over by Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin, Minister of Public Health, on April 3, 2025, at the Grand Richmond Stylish Convention Hotel, Nonthaburi Province.
This award program commemorates the 50th anniversary of Thailand’s pharmaceutical system and aims to recognize organizations, professionals, and academic institutions that have significantly contributed to national pharmaceutical policy and the advancement of rational drug use (RDU). The School of Pharmacy at Walailak University is acknowledged at the national level for its exemplary role in promoting the rational, safe, and cost-effective use of medicines.
