Dean of School of Pharmacy, WU and team visit Taiwan for Academic Collaboration

During 24-28 July 2023, the School of Pharmacy led by the Dean (Dr. Jiraporn Chinkulpitak), Assistant Dean for International Affairs (Asst. Prof. Dr. Aruna Prasoptham) and staff who deal with Pharmaceutical care clerkship (Miss Tiwaporn Thongsut) visited Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), which is a large private medical center in Taiwan. This private hospital is equivalent to BDMS network hospitals in Thailand. CCH is the first hospital in Taiwan that uses AI to help manage the hospital. The results from meeting and visiting, CCH is pleased to accept as an elective training center for 6th year Pharmaceutical care students. In the academic year 2024, accepting 2 students (emphasis on Chemotherapy preparation) for 6 weeks during September-October 2024

In addition, this trip also had the opportunity to visit Hungkuang University in Taichung City, which is outstanding in research. production and quality control, including complete cosmetic marketing. Hungkung University is interested in establishing academic cooperation with Walailak University with all schools to promote student exchange collaborative research Including the preparation of joint venture courses at the graduate level, especially with the Medicine and Cosmetic Innovation Program of the School. This first step of collaboration will be extended and be in the process by coordinating with the Center for International Affairs of Walailak University and the Graduate School of Pharmacy.
