On July 31 – August 1, 2024, the School of Pharmacy at Walailak University, in collaboration with the School of Management at Walailak University, welcomed two professors from Hungkuang University, Taiwan: Prof. Dr. Tsong Min Chang and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jason Ho, who visited Walailak University. During this visit, Prof. Dr. Tsong Min Chang delivered a special lecture to fifth-year students in the Industrial Pharmacy program in the course PHA62-514 Cosmetic Science, as well as to graduate students in the Drug and Cosmetic Innovation program, along with faculty members from the School of Pharmacy. The lecture focused on research and development related to natural products and cosmetic efficacy testing, which led to the development of cosmetic products.Additionally, Prof. Dr. Tsong Min Chang discussed potential collaborations with Asst. Prof. Dr. Apichat Athipairin, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Namfa Sermkaew, Head of the Research Unit at the School of Pharmacy. The discussions centered on future collaborations between the Department of Applied Cosmetology at Hungkuang University and the School of Pharmacy at Walailak University, including faculty and student exchanges, academic and research collaboration, and professional training. Moreover, the faculty of the School of Pharmacy guided the visitors on a tour of the laboratories at the Scientific and Technological Instrument Building 6 and visited the Botanical Garden, Bota Market which are the scenic spots of Walailak University.
