The program aims to produce Ph.D. holders who possess thorough and in-depth knowledge skills and ability to link pharmaceutical knowledge and technology and related sciences to become high-potential researchers in the drug and cosmetic field. They will be able to choose appropriate advanced technology to develop drug and cosmetic innovation to increase competitiveness in drug and cosmetic manufacturing and service industries. They will also be able to conduct research that yields both commercial and social applications while adhering to ethics and good morals in their endeavors.

APPLICANT’S ELIGIBILITIES
Type 1.1
- Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or an equivalent, or have evidence that they will graduate with a Master’s degree or an equivalent in Pharmacy, Health Science, or Science from an institution recognized by the Office of the Higher Education Commission and/ or the Office of the Civil Service Commission
- A grade point average of 3.50, or have research experience, having had their work published in a peer-reviewed academic journal, or having developed a patented product.
- English examination result according to the announcement by the College of Graduate Studies, Walailak University
Type 1.2
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, or have evidence that they will graduate with a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in Pharmacy, Health Science, or Science from an institution recognized by the Office of the Higher Education Commission and/ or the Office of the Civil Service Commission
- A grade point average of 3.50
- English examination result according to the announcement by the College of Graduate Studies, Walailak University
FEE
- Tuition fee per trimester 100,000 Thai Baht for Thai student
- Tuition fee per trimester 125,000 Thai Baht for International student
- Ph.D. Excellence Scholarships – Tuition Fee Waiver *Successful candidates are responsible for accommodation, transportation and living expenses.*

GRADUATION CRITERIA
- Two published papers, or at least accepted for publishing, in international scientific journals.
- The thesis work or its part must be presented at a national or international academic conference (or symposium).
