My internship at the University of Toyama, focusing on the search for bioactive molecules with HIV-1 VPR inhibitory activity from bacteria sourced from Thailand, was an enriching and culturally diverse experience. The collaborative research environment at the university allowed me to delve into the complexities of microbiology while incorporating the unique characteristics of Thai bacteria. Throughout the internship, I actively engaged in groundbreaking research methodologies, honing my skills in molecular biology and microbiology.
Working on this international project not only broadened my scientific knowledge but also provided insights into the intricacies of global collaboration. The research methodologies tailored to Thai bacteria showcased the importance of understanding regional biodiversity in scientific investigations.
